A Zambian man was busted for possession of 500 grams of crystal meth and 700 grams of cocaine at an apartment on Soi Lat Phrao 132 in the Bangkapi district this weekend.
Bukkalo police charged 31-year-old Marwinte Collin with possession of class-one and class-two drugs with intent to distribute. Speaking to Dailynews, authorities stated that Collin had smuggled drugs into the Kingdom for more than two years by hiding the substance in his rectum through Bangkok immigration checkpoints.
Collin allegedly sold drugs to Thais with assistance of Thai women. The drugs seized were worth a street value of THB3 million. Collin, who is believed to be part of a large African drug trafficking network, is being held for interrogation.
