A dead body was recovered from the Chao Phraya River near the Krung Thon Bridge yesterday afternoon.
Around 3:30pm, authorities discovered the body of a man stuffed in a canvas bag. The man was wearing a white T-shirt, black slacks and had a whistle hanging around his neck. He was assumed to be in his 20s.
From the condition of the body, the authorities believe the man was struck with a blunt object and died two to three hours before his body was discovered.
The authorities have been unable to identify the man, and the body was sent to Institute of Forensic Medicine for further investigation, INN News reported.
