A worker at one of the airport banks was fined THB1,000 for making the least funny joke ever.

Identified only as Arun, the man drove his car into a restricted part of the Suvarnabhumi parking garage, got out of his car, and tossed down a cardboard box in front of a guard before shouting “Bomb! Bomb!”

Arun quickly corrected himself, saying there was no bomb in the box, but the guard reported the incident, and Arun was forced to go to the Suvarnabhumi Airport Police Station, where he received a lecture and was told to pay a fine, reported Thai PBS.

When asked to explain his actions, Arun said that he thought the guard was a friend of his and that it would be funny.
