The man who allegedly shot to death his four children while they were sleeping has killed himself, police said.
Pornpichit Yongstar, 40, died last night after shooting himself in the head with a .22 calibre gun, Khaosod English reported.
The tragedy in Trang province unfolded after Pornpichit’s wife Supattra Kemkhao left him for another man.
Pornpichit was said to be “stressed” on Sunday night that his ex-wife was not returning his calls.
He then allegedly shot their four children aged 3, 5, 12, and 14 while they were sleeping.
Police surrounded his house yesterday and he demanded to see his ex-wife, but they refused.
When commandos eventually stormed the house, Pornpichit then shot himself in the head.
