A Burmese man who riding on the back of his friend’s bicycle fell off and was crushed to death by a garbage truck driving behind them in Bangkok’s Prawet district last night.
The Burmese worker, said to be 30 to 35 years old, died in front of Soi On Nut 84 last night after his friend lost control of the bicycle to avoid a car coming out of the soi.
The deceased, whose identity was not disclosed, was then run over by the garbage truck. The truck driver abandoned his vehicle and fled the scene.
Police are tracking down the garbage truck driver, Khaosod reported.
