The latest cover of Sudsapda, a bimonthly fashion magazine, is being criticised online as promoting pedophiliac content after the magazine printed an adorable-to-many, creepy-to-others photo – or maybe it was just the questionable caption.
The cover features actor Jirayu “James” Tangsrisuk and 2-year-old instagram star Wanmai Chatborirak, who is also an adopted sister of scandal-prone actor Pakorn “Boy” Chatborirak and often appears in his daily selfies.
Some netizens argue the photo is cute but complain its caption, “Age-gap couple to imagine,” is inappropriate.
Those obsessed with romantic literature, soap operas, television series or any other character-driven material understand the type of “imagining” they’re talking about, whether it’s Yaya and Nadech, or Sansa Stark and The Hound.
Cue pages and pages of unbearable fanfic, which under the rules of the Internet, inevitably result in awkwardly described sex acts.
“The caption is just wrong,” user Pum Dessert Mania wrote. “I thought the photo was cute, but when I read the caption, not so much.”
“It’s weird… and you captioned it as ‘Age-gap couple to imagine.’ Seriously? #Ithinktoomuch,” Greeni Bo wrote.
Meanwhile, some netizens felt a kiss on the lips was a no-no.
“He should not kiss her on the lips. Maybe a kiss on the cheek is more appropriate,” Muthita Seesroypraw wrote.
“I don’t like this at all. I have a daughter, and I wouldn’t let anyone kiss her on the lips like that,” Rainbow Pan joined.
