New outdoor market Area Five is bringing food, fashion, arts and music to Makkasan. Visitors can shop at more than 400 craft stores and check out indie artworks, while mainstream singers and bands will be on hand to provide tunes to groove to.
Plenty of yummy dishes will be available at a range of food trucks and pop-up stalls, while Thai designers will offer fresh looks to jazz up your wardrobe. Those looking for something a little different can snap up unique handicrafts and accessories.
As well as shopping opportunities galore, the market will showcase numerous artworks by talented Thai artists. Art experts will also run workshops for visitors looking to get inspired.
Gene Kasidit, Joey Boy, Stamp, Slot machine, The Jukks and DJ Spydamonkee are just some of the musicians performing throughout the three-day event.
Entry is THB100 per day. If you buy 3 tickets you can pick up the fourth for free, so bring your gang.
