Cops arrest Colombian criminal gang in Chatuchak district

The Nation is reporting that Bangkok police have arrested four Columbian nationals, who stand accused of committing a slew of crimes throughout the Bangkok area.

According to Pol Lt-Gen Panu Kerdlappol, the arrests took place this Monday at an apartment parking lot in Bangkok’s Chatuchak district.

The gang consisted of two men and two women, all of whom had entered the country illegally using fake passports and forged entry stamps. Once inside the Kingdom, the group engaged a crime spree, robbing residences in Samut Prakan, Pathum Thani and Nakhon Pathom.

When placing the group under arrest, cops confiscated a cell phone signal scrambling device, the aforementioned fake passports and an array of other burglary tools.
