While conceding that graffiti in Asia has yet to leave its formative stage, the organizers of Graffiti Asia at the Space Bangkok have nonetheless found plenty of artists in the medium worth celebrating.
From Indonesian painter Darbotz, to screen printers Kress and Esow from Japan, Graffiti Asia has put together an impressive collection of disparate talents from across the region (including several artists from Bangkok as well).
Though the exhibition will stay up all month, only at tonight’s launch party will you be able to enjoy some complimentary crudités. As an added bonus, attendants will get a chance to check out the Space – a multipurpose arts venue with a fascinating mission and what appears to be a talented curatorial eye.
