Bored of your customary booze-soaked nightlife? Want to have some laughs while remaining clothed for the night?
Bangkok’s itinerant comedy crew has found a permanent home for Comedy Club Bangkok to open downtown next month. There they will engage in the ancient art of comedy, a long-forgotten form from when “LOL” and “ROFL” were things you did instead of typed.
Situated above The Royal Oak pub on Soi Sukhumvit 33/1, the Comedy Club Bangkok aims to provide an alternative form of entertainment for those who are sober enough to climb up its stairs. Opening Sept. 12, the club’s weekly shows will alternate between nights of stand-up, open-mic, improv, comedic theater and more.
They also will host workshops for those interested in the art of laughter.
