A second-year student at Kasetsart University died after falling from her dormitory window early this morning, police said.
Paholyothin authorities reported that Jureelak Kamwong, a 21-year-old food science student, was found dead on the first floor of the building at 4am. From the large hole in a sun shade above her body, police believe her body broke through it after falling from her room on the fourth floor, then died from her injuries.
According to the deceased’s roommate, they had been at a party before the incident. Jureelak was drunk when her friend helped her to her room. Jureelak was left alone in her room while her roommate rode a bicycle to help escort another friend to her dorm room.
When the roommate came back, Jureelak was found dead.
The authorities will inspect the scene further before making a final determination as to cause of death, Thairath reported.
