Heavy downpour triggered a rock collapse at a quarry site in Phetchaburi yesterday, killing at least six workers and leaving three or four more trapped beneath the rubble.
According to MCOT Online News, rescue operators are working as fast as they can to free the trapped workers.
The rock collapse also destroyed three backhoes, three trucks used to transport stone and two additional pickup trucks.
The quarry site is operated by the Phetsamut Company in the province’s Khao Yoi district, which is located about 110 kilometers southwest of Bangkok.
