Thailand and cold weather don’t mix, and during this extremely rare cold spell, some people just don’t know how to handle it.
The hashtag “So cold that I’m scared for my life” has been trending on Twitter and Facebook since yesterday when Bangkok decided it was finally winter and the temperature drastically dropped to 16 degrees Celsius.
And how have Thais been handling it? They’ve been huddling with blankets. They’ve tried warming themselves with heat from birthday candles, and wrapped temple dogs in monks’ robes. Many more examples can be seen in the photo gallery below.
