Cloud 47, the only rooftop bar where you could get a tower of Chang, will close down on March 31.
Though it’s only been open since 2013, the bar in Silom’s United Center made an impact on Bangkok’s booze scene by providing a casual rooftop drinking spot. With its plastic chairs, moderately-priced cocktails, and damage menu that told you how much you’d have to pay if you broke a table or vomited at the establishment, this was a place you felt comfortable with dirty hair and no makeup; far above Silom and miles away from the hi-so crowds at Lebua and Red Sky.
After March 31, the 47th floor rooftop bar will become an office space, reported BK Magazine.
