Cleared of protesters, Ratchadamnoen repairs planned

After a half year of occupation by anti-government protesters, Ratchadamnoen Avenue will undergo repairs by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

According to its NNT media operation, the military junta said the protests left surrounding areas “slightly damaged.”

City officials said it would be a priority to have everything, such as street lights and fixtures, fully restored before Mother’s Day on Aug. 12.
