Just in case tomorrow’s romantic adventure goes unexpectedly well, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has got you covered.
Nine district offices will remain open, despite being a national Buddhist holiday, to provide emergency marriage registration services.
The district of love itself, Bang Rak, will be one of those. Officials there are expecting 1,000 couples to attend its gold-certificate giveaway.
Bang Rak will use space at Cat Telecom, and Phasi Charoen will operate at a space inside Seacon Square mall, NNT reported.
The other districts are: Lak Si, Bang Kae, Chatuchak, Bangkok Noi, Pom Prab Sattuphai, Samphan Thawong and Khuay Khwang.
