Authorities announced plans to develop the Klong Prem Central Prison into an expansive 5 million square meter transportation complex.
The new facility will provide new monorail train lines with retail shops, a community mall, hotels and apartments.
The THB45 billion project will service a 21.9 kilometer train line between Ngarmwongwan Road to Kaset Nawamin Road. Authorities will transition the current government district into a residential zone, Khaosod reported.
