After three years of renovation and a campaign pushing officials to reopen the museum, the Children’s Discovery Museum will finally welcome visitors again next year.
THB70 million was invested in improvements to the museum in the Chatuchak district, Deputy Bangkok Governor Amornkij Chawengkul said yesterday. The project to build a complete learning source for children is expected to finish this year, as the museum will open on Children’s Day in January, 2015.
The improved features include accommodation for children with disabilities including Braille and audio books. Sign-language guides will also be available, Daily News reported.
