Channel 3 actor’s Thong Lor murder case forwarded to prosecutors

Today, Thong Lor investigators submitted murder charges against Channel 3 actor Porameth Singhpho to the prosecutors at the South Bangkok Criminal Court. 

Porameth was accused of killing his friend Nopphadol Athibuy, a 44-year-old part owner of Thong Lor club Muse, at a parking lot on Soi Thong Lor 8 on Jan. 17. According to INN, Porameth is charged with premeditated murder, unlawfully carrying a firearm and shooting of a firearm in a public space.

Porameth told prosecutors that he recently underwent a car crash after leaving the monkhood. He was earlier ordained as a Buddhist monk for nine days at a Petchaburi temple.

Porameth’s trial is scheduled for 10am on July 15.
