Chalerm: I’m not dead yet

Former Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung took a break from sipping coffee in the capital’s Bang ฺBon district today to tell the world he isn’t dead.

In a typical case of the internet being the internet, rumors spread online this morning the pink-Cadillac driving, lightning rod of the Pheu Thai party had been admitted to Ramathibodi Hospital with throat cancer and quickly succumbed to his illness. Images seemed to conflate Chalerm with Redshirt politico-in-exile Apiwan Wiriyachai, whose body returned to Thailand on Saturday.

In fact, Chalerm said, he’s just fine and doing totally normal living things, like drinking some delicious coffee, Daily News reported.
