A phone bandit believed to have stolen smartphones and other items from many people, including a celeb, has been busted.
Bangna authorities arrested 28-year-old Akradech Sriboonruang yesterday and accused him of stealing phones from customers at Central Bangna. Akradech had two Samsung Galaxy Note phones in his possession when he was arrested.
Investigating complaints from locals about a who stole their phones while they were on shopping sprees, authorities caught the thief at Tops Supermarket in Central Bangna yesterday afternoon.
Police believe the thief is the same person who stole THB20,000 cash along with the purse of Thai-Canadian actress Nattada Apitananon, Sanook reported.
