Ever wonder why people would dedicate precious real estate to build a spirit house? It’s to trap free cats.  

With food and water provided daily to the spirit house, this is a pretty good deal for the kitties.

While some would question the consequences of superstition, without it there would be no spirit houses. Without spirit houses, the world would be denied these photos.
