Phaholyothin police arrested a 40-year-old Ubon Ratchathani cab driver on robbery charges at a Toyota dealership on Soi Lat Phrao 15 in Chatuchak district.
Weera Suebwong is accused of robbing a 58-year-old female driver on Vibhavadi-Rangsit Road on August 2. The victim, Pimboon Thanachaiprasert, told police that Weera cut her car off and threatened her before snatching a gold amulet necklace and then speeding away.
Authorities told the Dailynews that Weera was also wanted on drug and assault charges. He is being held for interrogation.
