Bus driver picks fight with cyclist (VIDEO)

Another example of Thailand’s road rage

This time, a driver of bus no.182 abruptly stopped his public transportation service to pick a fight with a cyclist on the roadside as his passengers watched.

The incident was captured on a dashcam video Monday night before it went viral, prompting officials to step in.

Bangkok Mass Transit Authority fined Krasae Ngern Yanyon Co. Ltd., the company who owns the bus, THB5,000 for the driver’s bad behavior.

The driver, who was later identified as Pipattanachai Klinpaka, said the cyclist almost hit some passengers as they got off the bus. The conductor stuck his arm out to try and stop the cyclist, but the cyclist hit his arm. This obviously enraged the driver and he decided to deal with the cyclist himself.

BMTA made a note of the incident in Pipattanachai’s employment record, and if he does it again, he will be punished, T News reported.
