Those who bought BTS trips and didn’t use them can get refunds or extend them past their expiration dates.

Instead of eating their losses because the second-wave of COVID infections kept them at home, those whose trips expired between Dec. 21 and Jan. 30 may refund or extend their trips, Bangkok Mass Transit System CEO Kiri Karnchanapas said yesterday.

However, it won’t be done automatically, and commuters will have to bring their cards to any BTS station booth between Monday and July 31.

“We don’t take our passenger’s suffering from the pandemic for granted and want to help them out,” Kiri said. “For a year, the company also has been facing this hard time along with everybody and thank you everyone for understanding and cooperating with our measures.”
