Walk this way: BTS reminds commuters they’re doing it totally wrong

No, that’s not a clever marketing campaign teaching dance steps you saw this morning.

As simply walking across BTS platforms becomes impossible, officials have resorted to a very clear and easy to understand campaign to remind commuters of the rules.

The “stand right, walk left” campaign isn’t new, but the signs are the latest effort to coax some compliance from the mostly indifferent mobs crowding the stations. Some people saw the new signs today and posted them online.

“Finally they use the sign, please share this forward,” posted a Facebook user along with an image of the new sign.

 

“Three years after starting ‘stand right’ campaign, BTS finally put up ‘stand right, walk left’ campaign at stations,” @vow_vow tweeted.

Of course the signs on the floor won’t be visible when they’re needed most, hidden by bodies, legs and a sea of smartphones.
