Effective June 1, fares for the BTS Skytrain will be rising.
Whereas previously the maximum fare for a ride on the BTS was THB40, the new fares will max out at THB56.
BTS Group Holdings Chairman and CEO Keeree Kanjanapas claimed that the fare hike was being undertaken in the interest of keeping up with the BTS’s rising operating costs, reports the Nation.
