British artist recrafts Thailand into colorful forms at ‘Sacred Shapes’

A British artist represents Thailand through his eyes and craft with mathematical forms and woodblock prints at “Sacred Shapes.”

Ralph Kiggell reshapes and recolors objects to show Thailand’s cultural and national identity. The exhibition features different media from standing forms to 3D computer graphics. They offer Kiggell’s commentary on changing notions about what is craft and what is art.

Entry is free. The exhibition opens at 5pm, July 25 and runs through Aug. 31
