Three construction workers have been found dead after a six-storey building has just collapsed in Phra Khanong area this morning.
The building, located in Sukhumvit Soi 87, was under demolition, but something went wrong when the workers were taking the structure down.
Rescue workers believe that at least three more people are still trapped under the rubble and are racing to rescue them.
Police are questioning the contractor about the practices at the site and have brought in sniffing dogs to help find possible survivors, reported Thai PBS.
An international school nearby had to be evacuated after the collapse.
