A man reportedly jumped to his death from the fifth floor of the Silom Complex shopping mall about 5pm today.
Shocking customers who were doing their afternoon shopping, the unidentified man, wearing army pants, landed in the middle of the clearance sale section of Japanese retail brand Muji.
Photos of the body of the deceased have been circulating on social media.
Police are investigating.
Muji Thailand posted on Facebook that the company expressed their condolences for the death, and that they would end the two-day sale.
