A fire destroyed three commercial buildings in front of Pathumwan Resort on Phayathai Road near the BTS Phayathai station around9am this morning. No injuries were reported.
According to FM 91 Traffic Pro, the blaze started at a veterans clinic Happy Tail Healthcare and spread to two adjacent buildings. Firefighters rescued people from the scene of the blaze and successfully extinguished the flames in one hour.
Investigators are estimating the damage and examining the cause of fire. Officials are asking Bangkok drivers to avoid Phayathai Road at the moment.
