The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has requested a meeting with BMA school staff to raise education standards and prepare the students for the creation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).
Deputy Bangkok Governor Pusadee Tamthai, who chaired the meeting, stated that the BMA has always prioritized education. MBA school executives and coordinators also joined the meeting and were given a three-point policy to focus on. The three points are proper use of the Thai language, improved math skills and better foreign language skills.
According to Tamthai, these three skills are vital in improving a student’s global competitiveness and are also key components in daily life.
