With casualties rising from the rising tide of violence, the Thai Red Cross society says it can’t meet demand for blood and is asking for donations.
Many hospitals in the protest area have been stocking blood in case of emergency and requesting as much as 2,000 blood units per day from the organization, which only collects about 1,400 units daily, the organization revealed today.
The organization is requesting locals to donate their blood at the National Blood Center in Pathumwan district or at a mobile blood donation van.
