‘Black & White’ market to set the tone at The Jam Factory

Whether in shipping containers or Hi-So shopping malls, hipster weekend flea markets continue to be a thing for people to pose for new profile pics. Some would probably buy some of the prized “vintage” and “handicraft” stuff if they could possibly afford it.

This weekend The Jam Factory will literally tone it down at the “Black and White Market” which will gather “minimalist” Instagram- and Facebook-sellers to pop up some stalls and sell their stuff, from clothes to accessories.

Expect good food invariably described as “artisanal,” which means it didn’t come out of a can. There will also be “art workshops” of some kind.

Fortunately there’s no DJs or dress code. Just kidding, there is totally a dress code (black and white).

The market will open from 4pm to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday.
