Passengers waiting at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport for a delayed flight or a thermal body scan can rack up stars in Kim Kardashian: Hollywood lag-free.
BKK ranked first in a survey by Rottenwifi.com, a Wi-Fi service evaluator, whose users reported on the quality of service at 130 airports in 53 countries with a speed of 41.45mbps.
It was followed by the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport in the US state of Tennessee at 30.98mbps and Dublin Airport in Ireland at 19.45mbps.
Due to legal requirements, using the Wi-Fi service at Suvarnabhumi requires users to register their information to get two hours of access.
