In a world filled with festivals, sad brew-o-philes toil away over their sudsy beverages without proper recognition.
At last they are duly rewarded with Bangkok Beer Week, and what better way to recognize beer than drinking lots of it, kind of like every other holiday.
Beer Week is actually a celebration by Mikkeller Bangkok of its one-year anniversary.
Tap Takeovers and Meet the Brewers will be featured events during the week, with exclusive beers to be launched for attendees the sample some new flavors not experienced anywhere before.
The final two days will conclude with Bangkok’s first ever craft-beer fest, during which 100 kegs are promised.
The events runs from Jan. 29 to Feb. 7. Advanced tickets are available for THB1,200 and will be THB1,500 at the door. Each ticket includes 50 beers along with some swag such as bottles, shirts and food.
