Though devastated, murder suspect Preeyanuch Nonwangchai’s mother revealed that she was happy her daughter was arrested. She was afraid Preeyanuch might die or come to great harm otherwise.
Her daughter, 24, is now the main suspect in last month’s murder of Khon Kaen bar girl Warisara Klinju, 23, who was found dismembered and stuffed into plastic bins in the forest in Khon Kaen.
On Sunday, Sakorn Pasee said that even though her daughter was being held in jail, it was better than being on the run and risking her life in other countries, reported The Nation.
Sakorn spoke about her daughter from her home in Khon Kaen’s Khao Suan Kwang district, “I’m afraid that she might get attacked. It’s better to come back to Thailand to fight against the case here.”
She said that, if she gets to visit Preeyanuch, she will bring her mangoes and guavas and ask her if she really committed the crime.
