Thailand’s senate has enough members to hold a quorum after the election commission certified 15 senators-elect today.
Bangkok senator-elect Jaruwan Mainthaka was among the final round of certifications after an investigation of her campaign activities was presumably concluded.
The addition of 15 more senators means the higher body can now legally meet, according to The Nation.
At least 90 percent of its members must be present for it to hold a meeting, the first of which was recently postponed to May 10.
