A free light and sound extravaganza will play out for six evenings in Bangkok’s old quarter starting tomorrow.
Tens of thousands of colorful lights and a “spectacular” show commemorating this month’s coronation ceremony will be projected on a curtain screen of water from 9:30pm to 11pm for seven nights on the south side of the Sanam Luang across from the Grand Palace.
The lights will be on display starting at 7pm. The final show is May 28.
If that’s not enough spectacle for you, Wat Suthi Wararam by the river near Saphan Taksin is putting on a cerebellum-pounding psychedelic show with spiritual ambitions weekends through June 9.
