The People’s Democratic Reform Committee shut down seven major Bangkok intersections early this morning, as planned.
Demonstrations have been mostly peaceful, although non-fatal shootings have been reported at Chaeng Wattana Road and the Democrat Party HQ.
Traffic is running smooth this mornin, as most drivers have probably stayed off roads due to warnings about the traffic nightmare that the Bangkok Shutdown could create.
We will be covering the Bangkok Shutdown throughout the day and posting frequent updates on our Twitter account and Facebook page.
Tag your photos of the protests with #cocobkk on any social media platform, and we will include them in crowdsourced coverage.
