It could be your last chance to enjoy the decrepit splendor of Bangkok’s planetarium.
On Saturday the kingdom’s oldest planetarium, formally known as the National Science Centre for Education, will close for a major renovation to update it to 20th century standards. (Pedants: Yes that is a joke.)
The Ekkamai-area facility’s exhibition areas and edutainment zones will remain open, and we’ll know when it will reopen when the National Center for Education tells us, according to state media.
