This morning, did you feel the fresh winter breeze instead of the usual humidity in the air? That’s because the temperature dropped 3-4 degrees Celsius over the weekend, and it’s going to get even cooler in Bangkok.

An announcement that received much love from Thais on social media, the Thai Meteorological Department issued a notice titled “cold weather” and warned people to take care of their health due to the dropping temperatures.

Last week, the average temperature in Bangkok was recorded as 27-32 degrees Celsius during the day, but yesterday it went down to only 24-28. As of this morning, we’re experiencing a cool breeze of 23 degrees Celsius.

The meteorological Department said that the temperature is going to drop further 1-2 degrees Celsius by Friday with strong winds to be expected. So dig out your Christmas sweaters from the back of your closet.
