The Thai baht continued to weaken, dropping yesterday to 30.96 per US dollar as a result of ongoing outflow of foreign capital.
According to the Bank of Thailand, the purchasing power of the baht fell to 30.96 as of 8:08 am. The value was unchanged from yesterday’s closing. However, the value of baht was even lower yesterday morning at THB30.76 per US dollar. Starting from the end of May, the baht has steadily declined by 2.18%, the Nation reported.
