Babies always welcome on our deadly predators, Chiang Mai croc farm says

Shocked by little students’ playtime photos with deadly crocodiles? What if we told you this happens all the time?

The owner of Gator Farm in Chiang Mai’s Mae Rim district apologized to public after the photos of little kindergartners sitting on top of a deadly crocodile were roundly condemned online.

But it just ain’t a thing, he said.

The farm owner revealed this morning that at the end of their shows, students are always welcome to hop in the croc pit and take photos with saw-toothed animals.

The owner insures the toddlers were accompanied by experienced trainers during the photo shoot, and the crocodile seen in the photo is very tame and has been trained for many years to not eat babies.

Still, the public isn’t convinced, pointing out that “years” of training cannot change a species’ million-year-old instincts.

The farm owner said from now on they won’t allow students on field trips into the crocodile pond again, Morning News reported.
