Australian supermodel writes a big check for elephant babies

An Australian supermodel recently donated about THB3.2 million to help baby elephants in Thailand.

Former Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr, 30, was in Thailand late last month to write a check to the Friends of the Asian Elephant

Founder Soraida Salwala opened the World’s First Asian Elephant Hospital in Lampang, Thailand in 1993

Reveal reports Kerr’s donation will be used to treat young elephants who’ve suffered from mistreatment or injury.

The organisation says it has provided care for thousands of elephants in two decades of operation.
