The LUSH music festival is going down at a new venue this year : the Talad Rot Fai night market in Bangkok’s Chatuchak area.
The Nov. 9 event will feature 42 Thai and international music acts across seven stages in “fully redecorated retro-chic warehouses, outdoor rooftop bars, vintage pubs and an art gallery,” according to a release. Oh my!

Headliners at the event this year include Apartment Khunpa, T- Bone, Jay Montonn Jira, Bangkok Invaders, and Stylish Nonsense.
The LUSH organizers aim to raise money for social and environmental projects from the event – 30% of profits will go to the Thailand Association of the Blind and the CO2 emissions from the show will supposedly be offset through hi-tech renewable energy projects produced in Thailand in partnership with South Pole Carbon Assets Management Ltd.

We’re not sure if throwing a massive carbon orgy of a concert is the best practice if one is truly committed to lowering emissions. But hey, who are we to judge?
And the Talad Rot Fai certainly looks to be a pretty amazing place to check out some live music.
