A 62-year-old American man was arrested at an apartment on Soi Sukhumvit 67 for his alleged involvement in child pornography.
Immigration Police announced the arrest yesterday, saying that they raided the residence of the former flight attendant, Ronnie Lee, on August 7 and found many child porn CDs in his possession.
Authorities also revealed two other arrests of American citizens in Thailand. Anthony Michael Maki and Julie Ann Maki were arrested at Surat Thani’s Koh Samui on August 1 on money laundering charges. Richard Matthew White, 52, was busted on the same day for his alleged distribution of cannabis.
The four fugitive criminals will be expedited back to the US soon. The arrests were part of cooperation between the US Embassy and Immigration Police, the Dailynews reported.
