Stuntman Andy Lewis traversed a highline slung between two Bangkok skyscrapers yesterday, a feat event organizers billed as record for the longest slackline walk.
Balancing on a thin rope 55-stories above Bangkok traffic, Lewis, 27, took just over an hour and five minutes to walk 169 meters from the offices at Central World building to the Centara Grand Hotel on Rama I Road yesterday afternoon, Manager and Mirror reported.
There’s video of the stunt, which looks pretty exciting as the dude falls ‒ often.
Lewis holds a number of records for slacklining, but according to the hivemind, the “longest highline walked thus far” was 215 meters across the Cosumnes River in California, United States, in October by Jerry Misewski.

Correction: This article was updated to reflect uncertainty over organizers’ claim of setting a new record.
