U.S Ambassador to Thailand Kristie A. Kenney will kick off a month-long celebration of American food on Tuesday, July 2nd. The event, which the embassy is unabashedly billing “Taste of the USA 2013—A Rockin’ Food Parade,” will involve more than 3,000 U.S. agricultural products, plus an additional 150 all-American “food items.”
Purported highlights of the kickoff include Ambassador Kenney’s scheduled cooking activity with celebrated Thai chef Ian Kittichai and the opportunity to explore U.S. snack foods, fresh fruits and beverages.
