AIS looking for three tech startups to boost

Seeking to cultivate innovation, Thai telecom giant AIS has launched its third “startup incubator” program.

For the third-year of its program, which will award promising new companies with cash and support services, the company is looking in three areas: general online/mobile businesses, enterprise-level corporate management solutions and socially-responsible businesses.

The selected start-ups will receive THB39 million, access to AIS’ customer base and other support services.

In its first two years, “AIS The StartUp” helped launch ShopSpot, Noonswoon, Trip Packer, Buzzebees and FourLeaf.
